Wines of Sicily Tasting + Retreat Q&A

Wines of Sicily Tasting + Retreat Q&A
Friday, September 5th at 5pm PT (FREE tasting event!)
We're going to Sicily — virtually, for now! 🍷 In case you haven’t heard, I’m hosting an exclusive wine and food retreat to Sicily in April 2026. This free virtual tasting event will be an opportunity to explore some Sicilian gems and get excited about our upcoming spring trip for anyone curious to come along. Whether you're already eyeing our April trip or just want to sip and learn, everyone’s welcome!🌋
Not only is it the biggest island in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily is also the largest wine producing region of Italy and it's home to 65 native grape varieties, resulting in quite a diversity of wines produced here. With a winemaking history that dates back over 3,000 years, Sicily has been shaped by ancient Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Normans — each leaving their mark on the island’s wine culture.
Today, it’s home to a dynamic mix of tradition and innovation, producing everything from crisp, coastal whites and delicate, aromatic reds to powerful volcanic wines. We’ll dive into what makes this island one of the most unique wine producing regions in the world.
